Eveline Fohtung

Eveline Fohtung, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Potomac Shores Mental Health and Wellness in Woodbridge and Falls Church, Virginia. She has over nine years of diverse nursing experience, including medical-surgical, oncology, telemetry, rehabilitation, hospice, case management, and skilled nursing facilities. 

Eveline earned her master's degree in nursing with a specialization in psychiatric mental health from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, following her bachelor's degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, and an associate's degree in nursing from Global Health College in Alexandria, Virginia.

Additionally, she holds a bachelor's degree in law and political science from the University of Yaoundé II in Soa, Cameroon. This unique educational journey reflects her commitment to lifelong learning and holistic care.

Driven by a passion for mental health care, Eveline chose this specialty to gain a deeper understanding of her patients' emotional and psychological needs. Her approach emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care, empowering individuals to navigate their mental health challenges and guiding them toward healing and recovery.

In her personal life, Eveline enjoys spending quality time with her family and traveling the world, seeking new experiences and cultures. She is excited to join the Potomac Shores Mental Health team and looks forward to making a positive impact on her patients' mental health and well-being.
